Bishop Briggs Releases New Song “Woman Is King” from Deluxe Edition of “Tell My Therapist I'm Fine”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Bishop Briggs released a deluxe edition of her third studio album “Tell My Therapist I'm Fine” on March 7, 2025.
The standard edition of the album was released last October.
The deluxe edition comprises 12 songs, including the original 10 songs and two new songs “Woman Is King” and “Lightning”.
From the album, she has dropped a new music video for “Woman Is King” directed by Rachel Bickert and Bishop Briggs.
The track was written by Madi Yanofsky, Sarah McLaughlin, and Evan Blair who also produced it.
Bishop Briggs said of the deluxe edition, “When 'Tell My Therapist I'm Fine' came out I felt as though I had a chance to honor my sister by acknowledging such a specific genre that she introduced to me when we were teenagers. I hoped that if I was to ever release more it would continue to honor her in some way. I witnessed Kate's strength every single day and it felt like her life mission was to pass every bit of her own confidence onto me. “Woman is King” and “Lightning” are two songs that possess the power Kate so desperately and eagerly wanted me to have in my life. I hope she likes them, and hope you do too.”- The album “Tell My Therapist I'm Fine” weaves the loss of her sister and her grief into life-honoring moments that are buoyant.
