Korine Releases New Song “Twist The Knife”
Philadelphia-based electro pop duo Korine, consisting of Morgy Ramone (vocals/guitar) and Trey Frye (keyboards/bass), will release their upcoming fourth album “A Flame In The Dark” on March 28 via Born Losers Records.
The album comprises 8 songs, produced by Korine. It is their first album in two years since the 2023 album “Tear”.
The duo said of the album, “This album is very special to us both, potentially our purest and most 'us' collection of songs we've made together.”
From the album they released a new song “A Flame in the Dark” along with a music video on March 6, 2025.
The song is the third single off of the album, following “In Your Eyes” and “Anhedonia”.
It was written by Morgan Turcus and Trey Frye. The accompanying video was directed by Johnny 'Dynamite' Morisi, who filmed it in Philadelphia PA.- The duo said of the song, “This song explores the freedom of giving up. Letting go of all attachments and looking at the world for how it is. Embracing insignificance and personal truth like an impenetrable armor. The pain of life is of no consequence to someone who's accepted their fate.”
