Kyle Gordon Releases New Song “Selekta” featuring Albie Wobble, Trixie B & SIDEQUEST
Last month, New York-based comedian and singer-songwriter Kyle Gordon announced his sophomore album “Kyle Gordon Is Wonderful” would be released on April 4, 2025 via via BMG.
It is his first album in a year since the 2024 debut album “Kyle Gordon Is Great”.
From the album, he released the third single called “Selekta” on March 5, 2025.
This time, he teamed up with British MC Albie Wobble, New York-based singer Trixie B, and New York-based MC SIDEQUEST.
On the track, Kyle Gordon masterfully captures the amped-up aesthetic of the late-'90s and early-2000s UK underground hip-hop and speed garage scene.
The track blends sharp-witted humor with an unmistakable nod to the genre's signature sound, sparking nostalgia for millennial listeners.
It was written by Kyle Gordon. Produced by Jamie Siegel and Brooks Allison.
The accompanying music video was directed by David Foley.- Kyle Gordon said of the song, “This is MC Albie Wobble. Representing Wellington-Upon-Trent. The new album comprises 20 songs, featuring guest appearances from DJ Crazy Times, Kody Redwing, The Broken Hearts, Stool Sample, Rev Elmer Sunday, His Blessedaires, The Polyesters, Pen Stilla, Felonious, Albie Wobble, Trixie B, SIDEQUEST, Arabella DeFur, and Johnny Tornado.
