Rachel Chinouriri Announces New EP “Little House”, Premieres New Song “Can we talk about Isaac?” on BBC Radio 1
London-based singer-songwriter Rachel Chinouriri has announced her upcoming EP “Little House” will be released on April 4, 2025.
The EP is her first project since the 2024 debut album “What a Devastating Turn of Events” and comprises a 4-track.
From the EP, she premiered a new song “Can we talk about Isaac?” on Radio 1's New Music Show with Sian Eleri.
The track was written by Rachel Chinouriri, and produced by Chloe Kraemer and apob.
Rachel Chinouriri said of the song in a statement, “I write songs from a place of trauma but since releasing my album, I've consistently been in therapy and fell in love. Isaac makes me feel so protected and I've never felt protected really in my life, especially from men. I just felt so much of a new emotion I decided to let myself write about how much I love him, no matter what happens the fact that Isaac is the first and only guy to make me feel like this is special. It's a shame that it took that to love myself but Isaac is my hero and I hope this fairytale never ends.”- Rachel Chinouriri told Sian Eleri about the song, “I know it feels quite surreal. It's quite risky putting someone's name in a song, but also it just sings quite well. And it inspires me, and in this life, I'm gonna have no shame. So I was like, let me just, let me just go for it and do it.”
She continued, “Isaac, he's very simple man. He's very appreciative of how I've turned my art into our story. But I think now that I've sent him the EP to listen to, I think he finds it very sweet. And I don't know he loves some songs on it.”
She said of the EP, “He does feel like home. I think I lean on him for lots of things. He's like home, safety net, very protective. And I just, every time I see him, he just makes everything feel a lot better.” - source : BBC Radio 1
