Aqyila Announces Debut Album “Falling Into Place”, Shares New Song “Wolf”
Canadian R&B singer-songwriter Aqyila has announced her upcoming debut album “Falling Into Place” will be leased on March 28, 2025 via Sony Music Entertainment Canada.
From the album, she released a new song “Wolf” along with a music video on February 28, 2025.
The song is the fourth single off of the album, following “Focus”, “Unbothered” and “Most Wanted”.
The track is an upbeat pop anthem and reinforces her unyielding sense of self and her refusal to settle.
It's a bold response to a man who has “cried wolf” one too many times, ”you and truth are incompatible,” she sings, making it clear she's had enough.
The track was written by Soaky Siren, Taahira Duff, Mike Sonier who also produced it.
Aqyila said of the song, “My earlier releases from this album were all about feeling confident, knowing who I am, and staying grounded. This track is a little bolder, a bit playful, but also fearless. 2025? Let's talk boundaries.”- The debut album comprises a 11-track, produced by Jonathan Elkær, Kasey Phillips and Mike Sonier.
Aqyila said of the album, “A little trial and error in life allows room for more growth and experience. So even at times when you have to let go, there is so much beauty in re-shaping your life. Falling Into Place shares my memories of hope, fears and dreams that led up to this moment in my life.”
She continued, “There's no such thing as overnight success. This debut album is the culmination of years of hard work, growth, and learning. All the pieces finally feel like they're coming together, and I can't wait to share it with the world.” -
