megg Releases New Song “THE END”
Nashville-based punk rock singer-songwriter megg released a new song “THE END” on February 28, 2025.
The song will appear on her upcoming fourth EP, which is expected to be released this fall.
The new EP is her first project in four years since the 2021 EP “Here for Now”.
It was written by Anthony Joseph Peacox, megg, and Robert Nagelhout. Produced by Robert Nagelhout.
megg said of the song, “We wrote The End about some mental shit I was going through. This song is about the battle between two versions of myself in my head: the fun, happy, stops and smells the flowers kind of girl and this other crazy bitch who tries to tear everything apart. I wanted the music to feel unhinged yet familiar, something we can all scream and dance along to, as I imagine we've all felt this way in some capacity. I'm stoked on this one.”- Last year, megg released seven singles and moved to Nashville from South Bay. She is currently based in Nashville and South Bay.
She shared, “We're coming for ya, Nashville!! We officially signed a lease if you can believe it. Life has been pulling me out to nashville in an undeniable way & it feels like the right time to switch shit up for a minute. Don't worry, I've still got my place in the South Bay so I'll be back & forth making & playing music but now I'll be able to do the same consistently in Nashville which I'm really stoked about. So with that being said, LA/NASHVILLE let's play some shows & write! I feel overwhelmingly grateful for the constant support from my hometown & community as well as from the new family I've started making in TN. Thank you for all the love, always. I'm really excited to see what this new chapter in 2025 brings & am incredibly grateful to be making this move with my other half, my rock, Evan.” -
