The Neon Sea Returns with New Song “Sleepwalker”
Dublin-based rock band The Neon Sea, consists of Tom Doyle (vocals/guitar) and Dave Flood (drums), returned with a new song “Sleepwalker” on February 20, 2025.
The song is their first music in three years since the 2022 debut song “As I Wonder”.
The track delivers a hypnotic loop-driven sound with a sharp edge and minimal frills.
The band recorded the song at The Open Studio in Dublin and mastered by Christian Wright at Abbey Road Studios in London.
It was written by Tom Doyle and produced by Dave Flood.
The band lead singer Tom Doyle said of the song, “I wanted the song to sound like a hypnotic loop with a dark edge - something shorter and harder than our first single.”- The Neon Sea was formed by Dublin-based songwriter Tom Doyle. The band blends elements of Post-Punk, Shoegaze, and Alternative Rock.
While The Neon Sea is currently a studio project, Tom Doyle envisions expanding the band’s lineup to bring their music to the live stage in the near future.
Adding a unique visual element to their artistic identity, much of the band's abstract artwork is created by Doyle’s six-year-old son. - source : Apple Music
