Michael Isaak Returns with New Song “Say Too Much”
New York-based Egyptian-American singer-songwriter Michael Isaak returned with a new song “Say Too Much” on February 21, 2025.
The song is his first music in a year since the debut EP “Forever is a Scary Word”.
The track encapsulates his evolution in exploring self-identity and authenticity. Michael Isaak described as the "most personal track I have ever made."
It was written by Leo Jenséus, Michael Isaak, and Will Martinez. Produced by Charlie Hickey.
The track features Charlie Hickey on electric guitar and Matt TC Lucas on piano, and spotlights organic and experimental techniques.
Michael Isaak said of the song, “I really wanted to capture a more raw and up-close sound than my previous work. With it, I feel like I’ve crossed so many barriers in my songwriting and recording process. None of the lines in the verses rhyme. The song is in a whole new guitar tuning. It is also right up on the edge of my vocal range.”- He continued, “It felt like we were splattering paint on a canvas until the picture became clearer and clearer. This song has helped me reinvent myself as a mature artist ready to emerge above the surface.”
