spill tab Announces Debut Album “ANGIE”, Shares Title Track “Angie”
Los Angeles-based French-Korean singer-songwriter Claire Chicha, aka spill tab has announced her upcoming debut album “ANGIE” will be released on May 16, 2025 via Because Music.
The album comprises 12 songs, co-produced by spill tab, John Hill, and Solomonophonic.
From the album, she released the title track “Angie” along with a music video on February 19, 2025.
The song is the third single off of the album, following “PINK LEMONADE” and “De Guerre”.
It was written and produced by Claire Chicha, Jared Solomon, and John Hill. The accompanying video was directed by sweetiepie (Ethan Frank and Neema Sadeghi).
spill tab said of the song, “This one has held a really special place for me for a really long time, started in 2023 with chefs Jared Solomon and John Hill, it took almost 2 years to bring her home... I am so so proud of this song, and I hope you love her as much as I do. One of a kind video directed by the best boys of sweetiepie, Neema Sadeghi, Ethan Frank.”- spill tab said of the album, “I love this collection of songs so deeply. They feel more honest than anything I've created in a long time, and I'm so proud of the hundreds (thousands??) of hours that were spent writing, producing, chipping away at vocals, tightening up harmonies, re-writing bass lines, deleting entire sections, coming up with completely new ones, with all the insane collaborators that worked on this project. It's really special to hear all these experiences on love and loss, rejection and passion, walking away and holding on too tight, all coexisting together in one place: a cumulation of these last few years of my life.”
She added, “It became this beautiful experience of only following ideas that I really believed in and exploring all the musical avenues I hadn't before.” -
