Fredrik Svabø Releases New Song “Talk About It”
Norwegian music producer Fredrik Svabø released the third single “Talk About It”, following “Running” and “Sophie”, from his upcoming debut album “Kingo's Treat” on February 14, 2025.
The album is set to be released on March 14, 2025 and comprises a 10-track.
Fredrik Svabø said of the album, “It's an album about finding your way in relationships.”
The new song is inspired by Kendrick Lamar's 2015 album “To Pimp a Butterfly” and D'Angelo's 2014 album “Black Messiah”.
The track features Norwegian singer-songwriter thea wang as with the previous song “Sophie”.
It was written by Fredrik Svabø and thea wang.
Fredrik Svabø said of the song, “That song came to life in the studio space. Lyder's solo and Thea's freakout at the end really gave the song something special, and all of it happened when we were jamming to the song in the studio.”- He continued, “It represents a frustration over the fact that there's a lot of things in the world that are being talked about when what we actually should do is take action to make a change for the better. Musically this is one of the songs on the record that has a big focus on the rhythmic foundation, and it's inspired by the solid rhythm section on albums like To Pimp A Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar and Black Messiah by D'Angelo. I was also very inspired by the guitar playing on those albums.”
