Lo Lauren Releases New Song “Born to Run”
London-based singer-songwriter Lo Lauren released a new song “Born to Run” on January 31, 2025.
The song will appear on her upcoming debut EP “Wonderlust”, which is set to be released on April 11, 2025.
The track received its first play during BBC Radio 1's Future Pop with with Jodie Bryant.
The EP comprises 5 song, including the previously released “Before The Kiss”, “Wonder” and new songs “Born To Run”, “Rose & Jack” and “Would It Be So Bad?”.
She wrote the song with Andreas Hedegaard Mikkelsen, Carys Selvey and Marco Twellman in Copenhagen.

Lo Lauren said of the song, “Wrote this with Carys Selvey, Slwmo, Marco Twellman in Copenhagen about the constant battle of prioritising 'real life' vs ur dreams and sometimes running away or avoiding stuff that's good for you.”- She continued, “Wanting to be an artist in the music industry means making that your sole focus over absolutely everything and all kinds of relationships, be it friends, family or love interests. This song is about my feelings of ambition, lack of want to settle and constant battle of prioritising 'real life' vs my dreams. It's so hard and pretty savage! But it's also just the reality and the sacrifices that come with wanting the things I do, soz.”
