Strange Plants Releases Debut Song “Tell Me All Your Secrets, Pt. 2”
Canadian psychedelic rock band Strange Plants released their debut song “Tell Me All Your Secrets, Pt. 2” on February 7, 2025.
Rhythm section with biting rock vocals, the song delivers an energetic yet introspective exploration of fractured relationships and hidden truths.
The band recorded the song with producer Robbie Crowell at Creative Workshop Studio in Nashville.
The song will appear on their upcoming self-titled debut album, which is expected to be released in 2025.
The band founder Matt Brannon said of the song, “'Tell Me All Your Secrets, Pt. 2' is about that painful disconnection in a relationship—when someone is living a double life but refuses to admit it, even after it’s over. The song started with that personal story but grew into something much bigger, reflecting on the tension between authenticity and secrecy.”- Producer Robbie Crowell added, “'Tell Me All Your Secrets, Pt. 2' draws from the soul of funk legends like the Isley Brothers and Gap Band but reimagines it for a new generation. The key change into the chorus is so subtle that you almost don’t notice it, which I think gives the song a unique edge.”

The debut album comprises 11 songs, which the band recorded over an intense 8-day period, capturing a raw, vintage sound with minimal digital interference.
