Erin LeCount Returns with New Song “Silver Spoon”
London-based singer-songwriter Erin LeCount is back. She released a new song “Silver Spoon” on February 7, 2025.
Last year, she posted the demo version of the song to SoundCloud, and then fans shared it across TikTok, where it went viral.
The song is her first solo music since “White Ferrari X I Know The End”, which was released in November 2023.
Also, it is the first release as an independent artist.
She made the song in her garden shed. It was written and produced by Erin LeCount.
Erin LeCount said of the song, “'Silver Spoon' is about growing up differently to someone you love and the jealousy and shame it creates in a relationship. It's an argument at the dinner table about family, what might have been and if you could ever be a mother.”
She added, “Me and my voice do not do what a perfect pop singer is supposed to do. My songs are questioning everything and I think my fans are too-I'm a perfectionist and I want to know every answer.”- Erin LeCount shared on social media, “It's been eighty one days since I made this song in my garden shed. Not that I'm counting. everything that has happened in between has been so special to me. I really have been moved by the stories and interpretations many of u have shared with me about this song. There's so many lyrics and stories in this song that I'd usually struggle to find the words to have a conversation about but thank god I've discovered that writing and making and sharing things is far less scary when you have people who take such good care of what you create.”

She continued, “Thank you for giving me the patience and trust to take my time finishing this one. You showed the demo so much more love than I could've ever anticipated. Thank you for seeing and loving this song in every form from the beginning of it's creation to the final version. The seasons are only just beginning to change. I can't even begin to tell u how excited I am to keep going from here.”
