Along with the announcement, he unveiled a new song “Heartbreakdown” on February 7, 2025.
The song is the third single off of his upcoming third studio album “Nobody Lives Here”, which is set to be released on April 4, 2025.
He plans to release a new song every 3 weeks until the album is out.
It was written and produced by Brian Fennell, with production by Brian Eichelberger.
The accompanying music video was directed by Lexie Alley.
SYML said of the song, “No one is immune to heartbreak, and it happens when we are young and old. The best case is it teaches us how we want to love and be loved. The worst is that it hardens us and makes us cynical. The hope in this song is that we learn to forgive after a heart is broken.”- The album comprises a 11-track, which SYML wrote, recorded and produced, with production by Brian Eichelberger.
The album captures that life is full of contradictions and fleeting moments.
SYML said of the album, “If the dark inspires the good, that's a good thing to be honest about. All of these characters inside of me are fascinated by the same thing, which is: Why are humans even here and what is this ever-expanding universe that we're floating through?” - source : Apple Music
