Bright Light Bright Light & Donna Lewis Team Up for New Version of “Enjoy Youth”
New York-based electro-pop singer-songwriter Bright Light Bright Light teamed up with fellow Welsh singer-songwriter Donna Lewis to release a new version of “Enjoy Youth” on February 7, 2025.
The original version of the song is featured on his fifth studio album of the same name, which was release last May.
Before the release of the new version, he has collaborated with American singer-songwriter Beth Hirsch for another version of “Enjoy Youth” on the deluxe edition of the album.
The track was written by Jon Shave, Al Lewis, and Rod Thomas. Produced by Rod Thomas and Jon Shave.
Bright Light Bright Light said of the song, “As a teen growing up in Wales, I feel so absolutely in love with Donna's voice on 'I Love You Always Forever', 'Without Love' and 'Silent World' from her debut album. When I thought about ways to honour where I'm from, I thought about singing in Welsh and as a deeply 90s child, I immediately heard Donna's voice on the song. She's an absolute sweetheart who has kept her ethereal voice somehow exactly the same over the decades.
