  • Sleep Theory Announces Debut Album “Afterglow”, Shares New Song “Static”

  • American rock band Sleep Theory, consisting of Cullen Moore (vocals), Daniel Pruitt (guitar), Paolo Vergara (bass) and Ben Pruitt (drums), has announced their upcoming debut album “Afterglow” will be released on May 16, 2025 via Epitaph.

It is their first project in two years since the 2023 debut EP “Paper Hearts”.
The album comprises 12 songs, including “Fallout” and “Numb” from the debut EP, produced by David Cowell.
From the album, the band released a new song “Static” on February 5, 2025.
The song is the third single off of the album, following “Paralyzed” and “Stuck In My Head”.
It was written by Ben Pruitt, Cullen Moore, Daniel Pruitt, David Cowell, and Paolo Vergara. Produced by David Cowell
The accompanying music video was directed by Orie McGinness.
  • The song depicts a struggle with overwhelming static in his mind and mental chaos.
The band frontman Cullen Moore sings, “Everything is just so loud / Lost in the noise and I can't turn it off / The chaos spreads and it's getting louder / I run to escape but it's never enough / It keeps chasing me and it's erasing me again.”
