  • Rocket Releases New Song “Take Your Aim”

  • Los Angeles-based rock band Rocket, consisting of Alithea Tuttle (vocals/bass), Baron Rinzler (guitar), Cooper Ladomade (drums) and Desi Scaglione (guitar), has announced their 2023 debut EP “Versions of You” will be re-released on April 18, 2025.

The re-release EP is the first release under their new label Transgressive Records.
The EP comprises 8 songs, including the original 7 songs and one new song.
From the EP, the band released a new song “Take Your Aim” on February 5, 2025.
The song was written shortly after the release of the debut EP.
It was written by Alithea Tuttle, Baron Rinzler, Cooper Ladomade, and Desi Scaglione who also produced the track.

The band lead singer Alithea Tuttle said of the song, “The indignant response to feeling misunderstood or taken advantage of by someone but not being able to confront them about it. It's about a friendship that was built upon them taking more than they give and watching the friendship grow sour as time goes on. The verses illustrate the nature of the relationship; what that person says is what goes and no one can change their mind. The choruses fall back into the repetitiveness of overthinking; if this is all my fault like you say it is then take your aim.”
  • The accompanying music video was directed by Noah Neal and A.J. Incammicia.
The band told Consequence of Sound about the video, “The video idea came about rather at the last minute. We spent the last few months of 2024 touring basically nonstop with very little downtime, so we were fully in tour mode by the time we needed the music video done. The idea for 'Take Your Aim' is a little cheeky and a little on the nose, with someone literally firing arrows at Alithea while she plays. The whole idea is that we're freaking out about the arrows but she's completely unfazed, so we just roll with it and keep going.”

  • The band will host LA Fire Benefit show at Zebulon in Los Angeles on February 8, 2025. All proceeds from the gig will be donated to the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund and the Pasadena Job Center.
