Sparks Drops New Music Video for “Do Things My Own Way”
Los Angeles-based pop rock duo Sparks, consisting of Ron Mael (keyboards) and Russell Mael (vocals), dropped a new music video for “Do Things My Own Way” directed by Ambar Navarro on February 4, 2025.
The song was released from their upcoming 28th studio album “MAD!” on January 30, 2025.
The new album is set to be released later this year.
It is their first album in two years and is the first release under their new label home Transgressive Records.
The track was written and produced by Ronald Mael, Russell Mael.
The duo said of the video, “We hope this video, even in a very small way, finally starts a meaningful dialogue about the dangers of pianos falling out of tall buildings.”- Los Angeles-based director Ambar Navarro said, “Collaborating with Sparks has been my dream for a long time that took me on my own career journey. It was a new experience getting to work in a fully digital surreal world, pieced together by Dillon Petrillo, and see it all come together at the end. Overall, Ron survived his falls with just a few minor cuts.”
