Bitter:Sweet Returns with New Song “Baby Is Back”
Los Angeles-based electronic pop band Bitter:Sweet is back. The band released a new song “Baby Is Back” on January 31, 2025.
The song is their first music in 15 years since the 2010 EP “The Break Up”.
Also it is the first single off of their upcoming album “Baby Is Back”, which is expected to be released in Spring 2025.
The song is a playful single that brings together cinematic influences from Hollywood with modern electronic elements.
The track was written by Joseph David Verschaetse, and Shana Halligan. Produced by Verskotzi.
The band lead singer Shana Halligan said of the song, “I wrote the single in the studio with the producer, and it came together effortlessly. We began by diving into the music that has influenced me and experimenting with beats, horns, and a variety of sonic textures.”
She continued, “This track is incredibly special to me—it marks not only the relaunch of Bitter:Sweet, but also my return to myself and my power. This chapter is all about reclaiming my voice, my story, and standing strong as a woman in control of my own narrative.”- Shana Halligan said of the album, “I wanted to make a big band, swinging banger with Bitter:Sweet's roots while propelling the new music into this exciting new era.
