Lady Gaga Premieres New Song “Abracadabra” during 2025 Grammy Awards
American singer-songwriter Lady Gaga won Best pop duo/group performance with “Die With A Smile” with Bruno Mars at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards.
After accepting her award, she premiered a new song “Abracadabra” along with a music video during a commercial break at the Grammy Awards.
The song is the third single off of her upcoming eighth studio album “MAYHEM”, which is set to be released on march 7, 2025
The track was written by Lady Gaga, Siouxsie and Steven Severin. Produced by Cirkut, watt and Budgie.
The accompanying video was directed by Lady Gaga, Parris Goebel and Bethany Vargas.
The new album comprises 14 songs, including the Grammy winning song “Die With A Smile”.
Also she unveiled another new song “All I Need Is Time” inspired by the LA wildfires at a two-venue benefit concert FireAid on January 30, 2025.
The album is her first body of work in five years since the 2020 album “Chromatica”.- Lady Gaga told Vogue about the album, “The album is chaotic from a genre perspective - it is genre-bending, and I think in that way is a deeply personal look into my mind as a producer and the way I think about music. When I write and produce and sing songs, I am always drawing upon my knowledge of the history of music, and so many artists and producers that came before me. In that way, this album is a celebration of a lot of the music that made me who I am, because when I returned to a darker pop style of pop, all my early experiences with music came out.”
