Natasha Hamilton Releases New Song “Burning Letters”
British singer-songwriter and former girl pop group Atomic Kitten, Natasha Hamilton released a new song “Burning Letters” on January 31, 2025.
The song is the third single as an independent artist after leaving Atomic Kitten, following “Edge Of Us” and “You Don't Know Me”.
She departed from Atomic Kitten last October and started her solo career under her own label Morpho Music Group.
The track was written by Natasha Hamilton and Paul James Visser. Produced by GOLDCRUSH.
Natasha Hamilton said of the song, “'Burning Letters'’ tells a story of heartbreak, healing, and finding strength in the ashes of a failed relationship. It all started with a breakup I didn’t see coming. I walked into my home one day, and the first thing I saw was his key lying on the mat. That moment felt like a gut punch. Weeks later, he sent me a letter. It was his only way to reach out since I’d blocked him on everything else. But instead of helping, the letter just made things worse... so I did what anyone with a broken heart and a streak of drama might do-I burned it!”- She continued, “Right there in the garden, in a roasting tin, I watched it go up in flames. It wasn't just cathartic—it was symbolic. That fire was the start of my healing, my way of taking back control.”
She added, “When I sat down to write the song with my co-writer, Paul Visser, I knew I wanted to channel every unfiltered emotion from that moment. From the heartbreak of seeing his key on the floor, waking up each day and rolling over to an empty bed, to the bittersweet beauty of finding peace amidst the chaos.
