Rascal Flatts Teams Up with Jonas Brothers for New Song “I Dare You”
American country music band Rascal Flatts, consisting of Gary LeVox (vocals), Jay DeMarcus (bass) and Joe Don Rooney (guitar), is back with a new song “I Dare You” on January 3, 2025.
The song is their first music in five years since the 2020 EP “How They Remember You”.
This time, the band teamed up with American pop rock band Jonas Brothers on the track. This marks the first collaboration between Rascal Flatts and Jonas Brothers.
The track was written by Dewain Whitmore, Nick Jonas, Shay Mooney, and Tommy English. Produced by Dann Huff, Jay DeMarcus, Jeremy Hatcher, and Tommy English.
The band bassist Jay DeMarcus said of the song, “I think the fact that it was the Jonas Brothers really piqued our interest. We've got great respect for those guys and what they've been able to do in their careers. It was yet another opportunity to collaborate with somebody we respect in the music industry and it was such a blast doing it.”- Lead singer Gary LeVox added, “The message is great. You girls out there protecting your heart - don't just keep it all for yourself, you're going to have to jump off the cliff sooner or later. Give that boy a break.”
