Olivia Reid Releases New Song “All in Time”
New York-based indie-folk singer-songwriter Olivia Reid released a brand new song “All in Time” on January 31, 2025.
The song follows “Quite Simple” and “Love Don't Leave”, which were released in late 2024.
The track describes the natural ebb and flow of life, reminding us that there are seasons where it’s okay to hibernate, move slowly, and rest, and adiates a comforting sense of calm through a bright and meditative pace.
The track was written by Olivia Caitlin Reid and Timothy Ferguson. Produced by Tim Atlas and Olivia Reid.
“I wrote this song about the winter, struggling to let myself feel calm in the darker hibernal months of the year,” Olivia Reid said of the song. “Sonically, we added a sample of someone’s footsteps in the snow and ambient voice memos from my trip to Poland that I had labeled 'poland forest' to create this natural world I was imagining.'”- She added, “Sometimes seasons change and days feel darker. I struggle to sit still, rest and hibernate. Sometimes seasons of culture change, and the whole world seems darker. I start to feel unsettled and scared. So we made this song for calm in the chaos called 'All in Time'.”
