SOFIA ISELLA Premieres New Song “Dog's Dinner” on BBC Radio 1
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter SOFIA ISELLA premiered a new song “Dog's Dinner” on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders.
The song is the her first single since the debut EP “I Can Be Your Mother”, which was released last September.
It was written by Benjamin McIldowie, and SOFIA ISELLA who also produced the track.
SOFIA ISELLA told Jack Saunders about the song and its tone, “It's about consensual, mediocre sex. I think it's just the humor in it. I've been playing a lot more with the humor of life and the situations, and I think that just gives a lighter tone.”- She continued about lyrics, “I think poetry is the thing that keeps me up at night. Margaret Atwood, Sylvia Plath, Mona Awad, she's not, she doesn't write poetry, I don't think, but she just has the most genius novels of all time with such genius writing. Because lyrics just mean everything to me. Lyrics are just the biggest part of my songwriting that I focus on, and those are my biggest people that just keep punching me.”
