BLVDS Releases New Song “Two Sides” with Righteous Vendetta
Montana-based synth-pop duo BLVDS, consisting of Ryan Hayes and Jake Goldberg, teamed up with American heavy metal band Righteous Vendetta to release a new song “Two Sides” on January 17, 2025.
Ryan Hayes is formerly of Righteous Vendetta.
The song is an evocative mix of synthwave, retrowave, darkwave, and electronic elements.
The genesis of the track began in mid-2024 as an instrumental piece accompanied by a scratch vocal demo. BLVDS revisited the composition with fresh perspectives, making subtle yet impactful musical changes. The result was a reimagined track that embraced their dual influences.
Ryan Hayes said of the song, “'Two Sides' is a track that from the very beginning captured two sides of the band's songwriting. Coming from the metal genre for 15 years of my career definitely still influences the way I write today, and this song married both the Synthwave and metal stylings I am particularly familiar with.
