Gabrielle Aplin Releases New Song “Home To Me”
British singer-songwriter Gabrielle Aplin released a new song “Home To Me” on January 24, 2024.
The song is taken from her upcoming project, following “Go Be Free” released last month.
The project is expected to be released in 2025 and is her first body of work since the 2024 5-track EP “Writers Block, Pt. 1”.
Last month, she hinted at the new project, “I was really thinking a lot about the circle of life and experiencing a lot of grief kind of found a lot comfort in writing how everything is connected and I love nature and it just made me think of how we kind of I mean we are nature.”
The track was written by Gabrielle Aplin and Liz Horsman. Produced by Liz Horsman and Mike Spencer.
“I'm so excited to follow on from Go Be Free with this song. It's almost like part 2 in some ways. I'm really loving writing about nature at the moment it seems haha! If there is a field, I will frolic! So we made a visualiser for Home To Me. My brief was midsummer murders meets the hills are alive with the sound of music. What is your favourite lyric?
