Lauren Spencer Smith Releases New Song “Pray”
Back in November 2024, Canadian singer-songwriter Lauren Spencer Smith joined in Netflix animated film “Spellbound” soundtrack and released “The Way It Was Before (End Credits Version)”.
Following the song, she released a new song “Pray” on January 24, 2025.
As her original music, the song is the second single, following “small” after the release of the 2023 debut album “Mirror”
She co-wrote the song with Victoria Ryann Zaro, producers Nick Ruth, and Peter Fenn last August.
The song conveys a message of moving on, forgiveness, and wishing the best for someone who was once an important part of your life.
She sings, “There was a time / Where the words that you said really cut / Where I couldn't help holding a grudge / But I let it go / So I want you to find your peace / It's okay if it's not me / Don't need your apology for giving me hope / Darling I pray for ya”- Lauren Spencer Smith said of the song, “I wrote this song back in August with the most TALANTED collaborators & friends Peter Fenn, Nick Ruth and Ryann !!! I love u all and am sooo grateful we created this while laughing and having so much fun. I hope u all love this song as much as we do!!!!!”
