Kygo & OneRepublic Team Up for New Song “Chasing Paradise”
Norwegian DJ Kygo and American pop rock band OneRepublic teamed up again to release a new song “Chasing Paradise” on January 24, 2025.
This marks the third collaboration between Kygo and OneRepublic, following the 2018 “Stranger Things” and the 2020 “Lose Somebody”.
They first performed the song at the Hollywood Bowl in front of 18,000 people last October.
OneRepublic's frontman Ryan Tedder said on the stage, “We're gonna attempt something that I try not to do. Which is test a brand new song from last week in front of 18,000 people.”
The song is about the highs of a relationship and savouring the good moments
The track was written by Derek Patrick Flynn, Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll, Oliver John Marland, Pete Hammerton, Petey Martin, and Ryan Tedder. Produced by Kygo and Petey Martin.- The accompanying music video was directed by Johannes Lovund.
The video features two-time Olympic pole vault champion Mondo Duplantis of Sweden and his fiancée, Desiré Inglander.
