Alessia Cara Releases New Song “Slow Motion”
Canadian singer-songwriter Alessia Cara released the third single called “Slow Motion” from her upcoming fourth studio album “Love & Hyperbole” on January 24, 2025.
The album is set to be released on February 14, 2025 via Def Jam Recordings.
the track was written by Alessia Cara, Jake Gosling, Matt Brettle, and Mike Elizondo. Produced by Mike Elizondo and Jake Gosling.
Alessia Cara said of the song, “One of my favourites from Love & Hyperbole (yes I know I say that about every song but how lucky am I that I get to?!). Had so much fun making this song, in all it’s many shapes. thank you to the lovely dream team for making / playing / singing on it with me.”- The new album comprises 14 songs, with contributions from trombonist Roy Agee and guitarist John Mayer.
It is her first album in four years since the 2021 album “In the Meantime”.
Alessia Cara said of the album, “Every project so far has felt like a step in the right direction, but this album felt more like a leap. One of the things I hear most often from fans is that my music has helped them feel seen in some way. The whole reason I started making music was that I didn’t always feel seen in my own life, so it’s really touching to know that expressing myself might help someone else feel understood.
