Lauren Alaina Releases New Song “Those Kind Of Women”
American country music singer-songwriter Lauren Alaina released a new song “Those Kind Of Women” on January 22, 2025.
The song was released with the announcement of her pregnant with her first child.
Lauren Alaina and her husband Cam Arnold were married in February 2024 at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville.
The accompanying music video explores the theme of motherhood, depicting her watching in awe as her mother raises her, from pregnancy to the present.
The video shows a message, “The video is dedicated to my Momma and our sweet Baby Arnold coming summer 2025.”
The track was written by Derek George, Lainey Wilson, Lynn Hutton, and Monty Criswell. Produced by Joey Moi.
Lauren Alaina told People about the song, “It's all about the women who raised me. I was really fortunate to be raised around a bunch of very strong women. And when we cut this song, when we recorded this song, I was not pregnant nor thinking about becoming pregnant. It's funny how things fell into place.”- She continued, “[I didn't know] I can love something that I haven't even really held yet. I feel the baby inside me, and it's kicking me and doing all of the things. It's like I was the Grinch or something, and my heart grew.”
She added, “I'm looking forward to watching my husband be a dad. He is so obsessed with our animals; he's a big nurturer in general.
