London-based guitarist and singer-songwriter Charlie Turner released a new song “Mrs Other” on January 17, 2025.
The song is deep and introspective, blending jazz, rock, and punk influences to deliver a raw reflection on the process of growing older and navigating life after university.
Initially, he wrote a riff for the song as a groove to jumpstart improvisational jams, but it grew into something much more, becoming a full-fledged song with profound emotional depth and musical complexity.
The track was written by Charles Anthony Turner and Lewis Porter. Produced by Laurence Wilkins.
Charlie Turner said of the song, "I was going through a post-university crisis at the time. Lyrically, the song is about realising you're growing older for the first time."- Charlie Turner is known for his distinctive approach to the modern London jazz scene.

The debut EP “Debut” was released in the summer of 2024.
