Sara Lina Releases New Song “Only Say Yes”
Danish-Italian singer-songwriter Sara Lina released a new song “Only Say Yes” on January 17, 2025.
With the song, Sara Lina portrays the young woman who left, seen from a new perspective as the young woman who returned.
On the track, she reflects on her move from Denmark to Australia and her four-year journey through the unknown underground world.
She sings about the freedom to live spontaneously and say “yes” to all of life’s experiences, despite fully aware that they might leave scars.
It was written by Phillip Leonhard and Sara Lina Maida. Produced by Sara Lina, Phillip Leonhard, and Martin Pilgaard.
Sara Lina said of the song, “The song is a snapshot of living carefree, allowing oneself the freedom to follow immediate impulses, to be generous with one’s time and oneself. No plans, knowing it might get messy at times, but at least I’m free and doing things at my own pace. 'Only Say Yes' also describes what became the beginning of a four-year journey, where I lived curiously and boundary-pushing, following my own freedom to try everything.”- Sara Lina is a graduate of Melbourne College of Arts. With her captivating diva universe and flamboyant noir-pop, she sets the stage for a story that is only just beginning.
