Dirty Blonde Announces New EP “Looking For Trouble”, Shares New Song “Polly”
British alt-rock band Dirty Blonde, consisting of Ailis Mackay (vocals/guitar) and Hayley Tait (guitar/vocals), has announced their upcoming EP “Looking For Trouble” will be released on April 17, 2025.
From the EP, the band unveiled a new song “Polly” on Janauary 16, 2025.
The song is the second single off of the EP, following “Northern Twang” released last November.
The track was born out of a spontaneous collaboration with a producer during the COVID closure.
It was written and produced by Ailis Mackay, Ed Ripley, and Hayley Tait.
The accompanying music video was directed by Juan A. Garcia.
The band said of the song, “We wrote ‘Polly’ about that messy, crying on your bathroom floor, unpredictable side of falling in love that no one talks about. Someone can give you all the reassurance in the world but how do you know that it won’t all come crashing down?”- source : Apple Music
