SYML Announces New Album “Nobody Lives Here”, Shares New Song “Careful”
Seattle-based singer-songwriter SYML has announced his upcoming third studio album “Nobody Lives Here” will be released on April 4, 2025.
It is his first album in two years since the 2023 album “The Day My Father Died”.
He plans to release a new song every 3 weeks until it’s out.
From the album, he unveiled a new song “Careful” on January 17, 2025.
The song follows up “How It Was It Will Never Be Again” released last December, and “A100”, which was featured on the album trailer.
The track was written and produced by SYML, with production by Brian Eichelberger.
SYML said of the song, “Comparison is inevitable for us as humans. I tend to be a competitive person, and that can make comparison dangerous. As I grow, I feel like I have a better perspective on what it is to have a job, be in relationships, and be in my body. Luckily, I am surrounded by people who remind me that while these things help to define me, they are not who I am. ‘Careful’ is a reminder to myself.”- The album comprises a 11-track, which SYML wrote, recorded and produced, with production by Brian Eichelberger.
It is fueled by the keen understanding that life is a contradiction, a fleeting moment.
SYML said of the album, “We change, the world changes, and there is so much unknown. About a year ago I started writing songs that represent the change that is happening in front of my face, a group that have emerged to become this record. I’m going to release a new song from the album every 3 weeks until it’s out. I wrote all of the songs and produced it with Brian Eichelberger.
