Zoe Wees Returns with New Song “Traitor”
German singer-songwriter Zoe Wees returned with a new song “Traitor” on January 17, 2025.
The song is her first solo music in two years since the 2023 debut album “Therapy”.
As the single, the song follows up the collaborative song “Mountains” with Jonas Blue and Galantis, which was released last May.
The track was written by Zoe Wees, Alex Isaak, ÁSDÍS and Leon Milla. Produced by Alex Isaak, Leon Milla, Patrick Salmy and Ricardo Muñoz Repko.
The accompanying music video was directed by KC Locke.
Zoe Wees said of the song, “Traitor’s is about being fearless. We all deserve to be appreciated on a human level, and if the only way to achieve that is by cutting out that negativity then that’s the way to go. I hope this song gives the people that feel the same way the power to filter those people out of your life and find their own equilibrium again.”- She added, “I’m growing and changing and getting older. It definitely helped to heal me; I can finally talk about all these things in my story without crying! I really needed that album for this next chapter.”
Zoe Wees shared on social media, “The past year I’ve been trying to find myself. Been thru the worst anxieties so I can create this one for you. I poured so much into this song. Every feeling of betrayal, every moment I felt used..” -
