Cian Ducrot Releases New Song “Who's Making You Feel It”
On December 31, 2024, Irish singer-songwriter Cian Ducrot performed his brand new song “Who's Making You Feel It” during Ducrot's New Year's Eve show at Dublin Castle, which was broadcast live across Ireland.
On January 17, 2025, he officially released the song along with a music video.
The song follows up “Can't Even Hate You”, which was released last August.
The video was filmed in Hungary, directed by Jasmine De Silva and produced by Rhory Danniells.
Cian Ducrot said of the song, “The song is basically one big, 'Tell me, is this new guy better than me?' It's about how we all find ourselves stalking our exes even if we say we don't. And when you inevitably notice them moving on, that feeling of jealousy and curiosity pops up and you just need to know, 'Who is it? Who's making you feel better than I did?' Or, 'I notice it looks like your life is amazing and you're really making the most of it all, but also DO YOU MISS MEEEE?!' It's also a bit sarcastic in a way, asking this person if they got everything they dreamed of after leaving you and saying you 'hope' they did.”- He continued, “It finally feels like the beginning of a new chapter I've been so eager to find and a part of me I've been so eager to express and discover! Creating music without walls or limits or any boundaries has allowed me to be so much more creative and to really create from a place of complete freedom! I hope you love this song and how it makes you feel as much as I do!”
Cian Ducrot shared on social media, “A few months ago I played this song to Ed Sheeran over some delicious curry. He demanded I put it out next so here we are. (He also demanded I change the name but I think one demand was enough lol sorry Ed x) So to continue the tradition, on January 17th grab a curry with some friends and enjoy WHOS MAKING YOU FEEL IT!” -
Back in 2024, he co-wrote American singer-songwriter SZA's “Saturn”, which is featured on her latest album “Lana”.
The song was nominated for Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards.
For Cian Ducrot, it is the first Grammy nomination.
The ceremony will take place at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 2, 2025.
