BANKS Releases New Song “Love Is Unkind”
American singer-songwriter BANKS released her brand new song “Love Is Unkind” on January 17, 2025 via ADA Worldwide.
The song is taken from her upcoming fifth studio album “Off With Her Head”, following “Best Friends and I Hate Your Ex-Girlfriend”.
The new album is set to be released on February 28, 2025 and comprises a 12-track, featuring a guest appearance from American rapper Doechii.
The track was written by Jillian Banks, Tayla Pars, Tim Anderson, and Trey Campbell. Produced by Jillian Banks, Albin Tengblad, and Tyrone Carter,
BANKS said of the song, “Love Is Unkind is about an emotionally dangerous relationship that had me running around in circles. It’s about how love can be unkind and masochistic. Rewinding your memory and seeing things clearly.”- BANKS said of the album, “In many ways, it’s a big sister album to Goddess. After a decade apart, I’ve reunited with the core musicians and producers who helped shape my debut.
