  • Mumford & Sons Announces New Album “RUSHMERE”, Shares Title Track

  • British folk rock band Mumford & Sons, consisting of Marcus Mumford (lead vocals/guitar), Ted Dwane (vocals/bass) and Ben Lovett (vocals/keyboards), is back.

The band has announced their upcoming fifth studio album “RUSHMERE” will be released on March 28, 2025 via Glassnote.
The album is their first body of work in eight years since the 2018 album “Delta”.
Also, it is the first release as trio following the departure of Winston Marshal.
From the album, the band released the title track “Rushmere” on January 17, 2025.
“Rushmere” is the name of a pond in Wimbledon Common in southwest London where Marcus Mumford, Ben Lovett, and Ted Dwane first hung out and imagined the initial idea of putting a band together.
The track was written by Ben Lovett, Greg Kurstin, Marcus Mumford, Natalie Hemby, and Ted Dwane. Produced by Dave Cobb, and Mumford & Sons.
The accompanying music video was directed by Charlie Robins.
  • The band said of the song, “I think this has been the most prolific two years we've ever had as a band. We have a lot of songs to share with you. And it all begins where we started, really, with 'Rushmere'. We're restless to get going, relieved and excited to share this first one with you. and here's the video - thank you to everyone who took part.”

The new album comprises 10 songs, featuring a guest appearance from American singer-songwriter Madison Cunningham.
The band recorded the album with producer Dave Cobb at RCA Studio A in Nashville, in Savannah, GA, and at Marcus Mumford's own studio in Devon, England.
