Maddie Regent Announces Debut Album “On the phone with my mom”, Shares New Song “The wolf”
New York-based pop singer-songwriter Maddie Regent has announced her upcoming debut album “On the phone with my mom” will be released on May 16, 2025.
From the album, she released the third single called “The wolf” on January 17, 2025.
The song captures the bittersweet tension of wanting to move on while still being haunted by the echoes of the past with its raw vulnerability and magnetic intensity.
Maddie Regent co-wrote the song with her boyfriend and creative partner Cade Hoppe, and featuring additional production from Harper James of Eighty Ninety.
She describes the track as an exploration of the anxiety and fear that surface when you encounter someone you once loved but now feel estranged from.
Maddie Regent said of the song, “There’s a part of you that’s paralyzingly afraid of them, but you wish you didn’t have to be.”
