Nicole Haber Returns with New Song “Rock Bottom”
Toronto-based electro-pop singer-songwriter Nicole Haber returned with a new song “Rock Bottom” on January 16, 2025.
The song is their first solo music in two years since the 2023 “B!tch I'm His BF”.
As the single, the track is the follow-up to the collaborative song “Be My Lover” with T3rminal, which was released last November.
The song was inspired by their mental health struggles and hospitalization. It is a raw, ethereal electro-pop-rock anthem that dives into the pain of life's lowest points while offering hope and connection.
The track was written by Nicole Haber and produced by Mike Tompa.
Nicole Haber has already filmed a music video for the song, directed by King Dawit, which is coming soon.
Nicole Haber said of the song, “This track is deeply personal, born from my own battle with mental health and a challenging hospitalization. I’ve always believed in the power of music to connect, heal, and inspire, and this song embodies that more than anything I’ve ever written.”- They continued, “When I started writing Rock Bottom, I wanted to capture what it truly feels like to hit your lowest point - raw, empty, and overwhelming - but also show the strength and hope it takes to climb back up. The haunting verses reflect the vulnerability of those moments, while the uplifting choruses remind us that light exists even in the darkest times. The bridge builds into a whirlwind of emotion, mirroring the chaos of mental struggle but breaking into catharsis.”
