  • Biig Piig Premieres New Song “One Way Ticket” on BBC Radio 1

  • London-based Irish singer-songwriter Biig Piig premiered a new song “One Way Ticket” on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Sian Eleri.

The song is the third single off of her upcoming debut album “11:11”, which is set to be released on February 7, 2025 via RCA Records.
The track is a heartfelt farewell song reflecting on memories of a person in her life.
It was written by Biig Piig, and Zach Nahome who also produced the track.

Biig Piig said of the song, “This is a track that I made with a long-time collaborator of mine and producer that I love. It brought me into some memories about a person in my life that had passed. I reflected on what it's like to go through these amazing things that are happening in life and got me thinking about how they would be proud of me. They'd said if I kept dreaming that I'd get there, so really, it's like a letter to them.”
  • Biig Piig told Sian Eleri about the song, “I guess this track for me is like a letter to someone that I miss, and a reflection point, and I feel like it's something that.”

She continued, “It's a really special song to me. I feel like, I mean, making this record has taken so many turns, and I think initially I thought was going to be more of a dance record, and then there were tracks with like this one particular where it's just, it's super shit back, and it's very vulnerable, and it's very much about something, about someone, that's really important to me, I think. It was going into this, my first ever album, was there's no way that I can't. I don't know, like, I'd love to have that person be a part of it as well. So it's nice.”

  • The album comprises 11 songs, produced by Zach Nahome and Mac Wetha.

Biig Piig said of the album, “I think it's more of an experiential record. It explores like relationships, all different sides of it, dealing with loss, kind of finding a hope. And I really hope that people can, like, kind of find that in this as well. I feel like music, for me has always been that, I mean, it's been a home, and it's been somewhere where even in the hardest times, you feel seen in it.”
