Alan Walker explained about some tracks for the album.
“Barcelona” with Ina Wroldsen Alan Walker: “I've had the pleasure of working with Ina on a couple of occasions before, so it was only fitting that we released an official single together. 'Barcelona' is not just a song that kicks off the summer; it's also the beginning of a new trilogy and this summer's big project, 'Walkerworld Creator Games+'. Since I started posting songs on YouTube in 2012, I've been inspired by other creators who use my music in their own videos.”
Ina Wroldsen: “Dear Alan Walker. You and I go way back. The work you did on «Strongest» is my favourite remix, we have attended parties and gigs together and you even made a Walker of my little boy, who is not so little anymore.. Here we go again with one of my favourite songs we wrote last year.. Huge thanks to the genius Digital Farm Animals, to all the brilliant people at MER for making this record shine and to my dear Gunnar Greve for believing. Lalalai Alan, you continue to amaze me with your work and musicality. Let's throw our phones in the ocean and go dancing in Barcelona.”
“Who I Am” with Putri Ariani and Peder Alan Walker: “When I first started releasing music, I kept it mostly to myself. I found sharing my songs with others intimidating and I feared not «fitting in the crowd» with my style of music. Mom and Dad always taught me to be true to myself and follow my heart. Even if that meant going against the current sometimes.. Together with some amazing people, I decided to write a song about this. 'Who I Am' is a song about being true to yourself and following your heart. A little over 10 years ago, my heart was with music. And I'm so glad I found the courage to pursue it. Hope you do the same.”
Putri Ariani: “Very excited to start this new year with a new song with Alan Walker and Peder Elias. Can't wait for you to here it and share our feeling by this song.”
Peder Elias: “Who I Am with Alan Walker & Putri Ariani is about being true to who you are and following your heart making, sharing and creating memories with you through my music is my dream and I'm so happy I dared to risk it and pursue that dream 6 years ago. To everyone being a part of this journey, I love you more than you know we just started.”
“Thick Of It All” with Joe Jonas and Julia Michaels Alan Walker: “'Thick Of It All' is a song about being there for someone you care about, and also the second video in the new Walkerworld trilogy. Working with Joe and Julia on 'Thick Of It All' has been a dream come true. The song's lyrics celebrate overcoming challenges and supporting one another, and I believe we've captured that spirit in the production as well. It's an honor and a humbling experience to collaborate with such legendary artists and songwriters. I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed creating it!”
Joe Jonas: “The song is about being in a tough place, looking at your friends, being supportive, being there for them, and being there for yourself. So check it out! Very excited for you guys to see it and hear it and listen to it and love it!”
“Fire!” with JVKE and YUQI (宋雨琦) “I'm happy I got to work with the talented artists JVKE and YUQI of (G)I-DLE on this one! Their voices and energy truly make this song come to life. A special thanks to 2 of the most incredible artists I've had the chance to work with YUQI and JVKE.”
“Unsure” with Kylie Cantrall Alan Walker: “Throughout my career, I've been inspired by great friends, talented creators, and my own dreams. I feel incredibly privileged to have grown up within an online community of skilled creators, and I seize every opportunity to allow new creators the chance to discover the same. The entire process with 'Unsure' has been an incredibly inspiring journey.”
Kylie Cantrall: “It was so cool getting to collaborate with such a visionary artist like Alan. I truly didn't think I would get to be a part of something this extraordinary and to think it all came from that day I duetted him on TikTok. Hearing the song come to life with me on it and getting to create a music video with him from opposite sides of the world has all been mind-blowing!”
“Children Of The Sun” featuring Pritam and Vishal Mishra Alan Walker: “I met Pritam back in 2019 and we've always been talking about collaborating for a song at some point. Few years later, and after months of back and forth, we've finally made it. I'm really pleased with how it turned out – both the message and how it brings together different sounds and languages. And when it was time to make a video for it, I wanted to showcase the beautiful Sculpture Garden inside Walkerworld, which we've barely shown by now. The purpose of this place reflects the meaning of the song.”
Pritam: “Music has the power to heal, inspire, and unite. I hope that 'Children Of The Sun' will touch the hearts of listeners around the world and bring a message of hope and unity.”
“Better Off (Alone, Pt. III)” featuring Dash Berlin and Vikkstar Alan Walker: “Earlier this year, Vikkstar and I decided to go to the studio together - we started on a new version of the 90s hit 'Better Off Alone' by Alice Deejay. Little did I know what awaited me when we decided to release this track just a few weeks ago.
In recent weeks, we've not only worked on giving a new life into this iconic melody but also had the opportunity to collaborate with the original producers of 'Better Off Alone,' Seb & Eelke, who are also the masterminds behind theTrance project Dash Berlin They've introduced us to their new frontman, Ryan, and together, we've recorded the track, filmed a music video, and had some fantastic days of planning and promotion in Oslo. Along the way, I've even been hunted by a crazy cat smurf who seemed to be following me around, but now we're finally ready to share the song and music video with all of you.
You all know how much I value collaboration and the magic that happens when people come together to make music and share experiences. Being a part of this journey has been an absolute honor. I've learned a lot from the legends behind Dash Berlin and watched Vikk as he released his first official song.I want to say a big thank you for being a part of my journey.”
Ryan Fieret of Dash Berlin: “Proud to be a part of this momentous team up with dance music icon Alan Walker and legendary YouTube phenomenon Vikkstar, together with Dash Berlin producers Seb & Eelke celebrating 25 years of their monster hit 'Better Off Alone'. Reborn and reworked as a magical future classic as part of Alan Walker's celebrated 'Alone' saga, ready to make the whole world sing along with us once again.”
“Endless Summer” with Zak Abel Alan Walker: “Like most people, I'm always looking forward to summertime. It's the most exciting and blissful season and it's the best launchpad for joyful moments with family and friends while I'm on the road. It was these bright moments that inspired me to create a song that captured the buzzing mood into an everlasting summer soundtrack, and Zak Abel's talent brought it to life in a way only he could do.”
Zak Abel: “This might be the most euphoric song I've ever been a part of. Working with Alan on 'Endless Summer' was a great experience, too, so it just makes me wanna jump around and smile, and I'm sure people will react just like me when listening to our track.”
“Hero” with Sasha Alex Sloan Alan Walker: “I've been looking forward to releasing this song called 'Hero' for a long time. It's also been a pleasure working with Sasha Alex Sloan and her amazing voice. This track is about celebrating the very dear people we see as heroes. Recognizing the work they've put in to make this world brighter and more resilient. I hope 'Hero' inspires our listeners to embrace their inner hero, live openly and love deeply.”
Sasha Alex Sloan: “I was so excited when Alan asked me to sing on this track. I've been a fan of his since 'Faded' and I'm stoked for our song to be out in the world.”
