Deijuvhs Announces New Mixtape “Cemetery Scum”, Shares New Song “Comatose”
London-based singer-songwriter Deijuvhs has announced his upcoming mixtape “Cemetery Scum” will be released on May 2, 205 via 23 Recordings and Atlantic.
It is his first project in three years since the 2022 album “Perpetual States of Boredom”.
The new mixtape is his most cohesive output to date, and shapes the mood for the 10 blistering tracks as “Night time as a hoodpunk”.
From the mixtape, he unveiled a new song “Comatose” on January 10, 2025.
The song is the third single off of the mixtape, following “LOTUS” and “Black Metal”.
It was written by Daijean Robinson, and Matthieu Woodburn. Produced by Mattu.
The track is a nu-metal anthem with heavy guitar riffs and rhythmic drums, capturing the chaotic tug-of-war between desire and destruction as he confronts the torment of his relationship with alcohol.
Deijuvhs said of the song, “Comatose is a song about my love-hate relationship with alcohol. I tried to romanticise the toxicity.”- source : Apple Music
