Aloe Blacc Releases New Song “One Good Thing”
American singer-songwriter and rapper Aloe Blacc released the second single called “One Good Thing” from his upcoming sixth studio album “Stand Together” on January 10, 2025.
The album is set to be released on February 28, 2025 in partnership with the philanthropic community of the same name.
The song is inspired by a chance meeting with U2's Bono and The Edge at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas and reflects the importance of empathy and finding the best in others, even amidst conflict or differences of opinion.
The track was written by Alex Wilke, Aloe Blacc, and Hunter Hayes. Produced by Hunter Hayes, Alex Wilke, and Matt Parad.
Aloe Blacc said of the song, “This song is about the power of perspective—seeing the good in others and using that to create meaningful change. It's a reflection of what we can achieve when we focus on empathy and connection, even in challenging times.”- The new album is his first LP in five years since the 2020 album “All Love Everything” and comprises 12 songs.
The album blends his signature soulful sound with a powerful message of unity, empathy, and resilience.
Aloe Blacc has partnered with charities Stand Together on the album. Every song on the album is paired with a philanthropic cause, showcasing Aloe Blacc's ongoing, deep commitment to using music as a catalyst for social change. -
Additionally, he is honored to be featured in Netflix's newly released documentary, “Avicii – I'm Tim”, which chronicles the life and legacy of his dear friend and collaborator, Avicii.
