MYRY Releases New Song “Some Way To Hide”
London-based alt-pop singer-songwriter MYRY released her brand new song “Some Way To Hide” on January 3, 2025.
The song is the follow-up to “One Out of Many”, which was released last September.
The track is about Seasonal Affective Disorder, which involves the difficulty of coping with the emotional coldness and darkness that winter brings.
MYRY sings, “Oh, I wish there was some way to hide / Every winter when I'm paralysed”
The track was written and produced by MYRY. The accompanying music video was directed by MYRY herself.
MYRY said of the song, “It has only been out for a few hours and already 1000 beautiful people have listened before I even had time to post about it, which I'm pretty sure is a first. So thank you. It's a song about Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D.) and more broadly about that winter melancholy that has affected me and so many people close to me this year.
