Tempa & Naor Drops New Music Video for “MoonFall”
Hawaii-based musical duo Tempa & Naor, consisting of Tempa Singer Nave (vocals) and Naor Nave (guitar), dropped a new music video for “MoonFall” on December 30, 2024.
The song is featured on their the 2024 EP of the same name, “MoonFall”, which was released on December 26, 2024.
The EP and video are dedicated to their niece Ember Ryan Gill, who passed away on December 9, 2024 at the age of 12.
The duo filmed the video in Maui, Hawaii, featuring violinist Willy Wainwright.
The track was written by Naor S Nave and Tempa J Singer Nave. Produced by Tempa Singer, Naor Nave, and Michael Ferenci.
The duo said of the video, “We're so excited to share MoonFall, the title track from our album, filmed in the magical landscapes of Maui, Hawaii. This reflective nighttime ballad features Tempa's soulful vocals, Naor's rich 12-string guitar, and Willy Wainwright's emotive violin, creating a sound as vivid as the moonlit forest where it was captured.”- They continued, “The sounds of the forest and birds you hear in the song were recorded by us at Waihou Spring Trail in Makawao, adding an authentic and organic touch to the atmosphere. The stunning visuals were captured by Cody Quintana of CQ Audio and edited by Tempa & Naor, with makeup by the talented MauiMiRa.”
They added, “It's a song about love, loss, and finding yourself, with the mood set by fog rolling through the trees and moonlight shining on the forest. We hope it gives you a moment to pause and just breathe.” -
The duo said of the EP, “Moon Fall“ is dedicated to our niece Ember, just as our first album, 'Ember's Fire,' was. She has been a light in our lives-a force that touched so many hearts, including ours. Our Ohana has watched her grow, cheered her on, and felt the beauty of her presence. We are endlessly grateful for that. Her Mama and Daddy gave her a life filled with love, wonder, and so much care.
