Jacob Collier Drops New Live Video for “A Rock Somewhere” featuring Anoushka Shankar & Varijashree Venugopal
British singer-songwriter Jacob Collier dropped a new live video for “A Rock Somewhere” on January 3, 2025.
The video was filmed by Doddsy, Matt and Jeroen Zondag at AFAS in Amsterdam in November 2024, edited by Jacob Collier and Doddsy, featuring British-American sitar player Anoushka Shankar and Indian singer-songwriter Varijashree Venugopal.
The song is featured on his fifth studio album “Djesse Vol. 4”, which was released in March 2024.
It was written by Jacob Collier and Anoushka Shankar. Produced by Jacob Collier.
The track was nominated for Best Global Music Performance at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards.
Additionally, in addition to “A Rock Somewhere”, he received a nomination for Album of the Year with “Djesse Vol. 4”, and Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Cappella with "Bridge over Troubled Water" at the Grammy Awards.
