Astrid S Performs “Det regner i Oslo” on TV 2 Hver gang vi møtes
Norwegian singer-songwriter Astrid S appeared on Norwegian TV 2 “Hver gang vi møtes” to perform “Det regner i Oslo”.
The fifteenth season of “Hver gang vi møtes” was broadcast on January 1, 2025.
This time, in addition to Astrid S, Stein Torleif Bjella, Carola Häggkvist, Thomas Dybdahl, Ina Wroldsen, Kjartan Lauritzen, and Jonas Benyoub appeared on TV. Carola Häggkvist is the first non-Norwegian artist to be invited.
The song is a cover of Swedish singer-songwriter Carola Häggkvist's “Det regnar i Stockholm”. Astrid S changed the lyrics from “In Stockholm” to “In Oslo” and sang it in Norwegian.
The original version of the song is featured on Carola Häggkvist's Greatest Hits album “Det bästa av Carola”, which was released in 1997.
Astrid S said of the song, “Oh, how fun it was to premiere on HGVM! It was so nice to hear Carola share about her life. Such a cool, generous and witty lady. I was a little stunned by the shock of covering myself in front of myself!!”- Astrid S left Universal Music in 2024. This time, it marks her first appearance on TV after leaving Universal Music.
Astrid S said, “I think that's healthy. It's a group I really like, and I feel that this was undramatic and that we have a good tone.”
