Wes Nelson Releases New Song “Yellow”
British singer-songwriters Wes Nelson released a new song “Yellow” on December 31, 2024.
The song is the follow-up to Barcelona with London-based production duo Billen Ted, which was released in August 2024.
The track was written by August Møller Fogh, Jonathan Elkær, Sandeep Bains, and Wes Nelson. Produced by Wes Nelson, Cass Lowe, and Jonathan Elkær.
“Thank you so much for being patient, this one means hell of a lot to me!,” Wes Nelson said of the song. “I tattooed the artwork for my new single on my arm before I'd even wrote the song. Let me explain. So I took my missus to Coldplay on the first day, one of the best nights of my life, and the rest is history. I then decided that I wanted to get her favorite Coldplay song tattooed on my arm, along with the coordinates of the bar that we met.”- He continued, “Fast forward a month, I then decided I wanted to write a song about the nine, which is also called 'Yellow', and it is out tonight at midnight. So naturally, it got into the discussion of artwork. And because this song's telling a super personal story to me, I wanted the artwork to reflect that. I wanted to keep it really simple. We got a graphic designer to come in, scan the tattoo, hairs, pause, everything. I didn't want anything taken out I wanted it to be as authentic as possible. And that is the artwork. In case you're wondering why this human hairs on my artwork, that's why.”
