Rose Gray Releases New Song “Party People”
London-based singer-songwriter Rose Gray will release her upcoming debut album “Louder, Please” on January 17, 2025.
From the album, she released a new song “Party People” on December 31, 2024.
The song is the fifth single off of the album, following “Free”, “Angel Of Satisfaction”, “Switch, and “Wet & Wild”.
Rose Gray wrote the song after a Paris session with Sega Bodega, Rose Gray. Produced by Sega Bodega.
The accompanying music visualiser was directed by Rauri Cantelo.
Rose Gray said of the song, “I had 3 hours of sleep, took the Eurostar, wrote all day, and loved it instantly. It captures the euphoria of entering a party.”
Also, she shared on social media, “I hear the 808 drums, inside my mind as they hum and it feels like just the right place, right time. This song has my heart forever. Soundtrack of my life, song of my heart, club anthem of my dreams.”- The debut album comprises 12 songs, produced by Alex Metric, Frank Colucci, Joe Brown, Pat Alvarez, Rob Milton, Ryland Blackinton, Sam Homaee, Sega Bodega, shawn wasabi, Sur Back, Vaughn Oliver and Zhone.
Rose Gray said of the album, “I've always been obsessed with LOUD music, from late night car journeys with my Popps as a kid to spending my teens glued to the speakers of clubs. The album title was born on the mic, a running joke where I was always asking for things to be louder (please).” -
She continued, “I've been making music for 10 years. I'm very proud of this record, she's an amalgamation of everything I love. I've always been fascinated by pop music so yes she's pop, she's electro she's emotive and she's unapologetically me (and yes she's a she). My best mate who I wrote my first release about (good life) said it's underground pop. I feel this describes the album so perfectly.”
